After seeing so many lovely homemade gifts on line I decided to set to and give a couple of them a go. The first was a white chocolate and strawberry fudge. Never having made fudge before this was very interesting and tiring (stirring). However, the end result was fantastic. The flavour was good with the white chocolate, and I used dehydrated strawberries in my version.
I used a heated knife to cut into squares and then packaged them in cello bags and finished with a ribbon and sticker.
I also decided to make some Chocolate Dipped Chocolate Shortbread Cookies in large and small sizes, dipping the edge in chocolate and finishing off with varying sprinkles.
Again I packed them into cello bags and decorated with a ribbon.
I was very pleased with the way they looked and tasted.
