Just in time for Christmas my grandson’s decorated gingerbread house. I guess you could say he rather likes freckles, I don’t think there is one side of the house without them.

This year there were a number of gingerbread houses being made, and to make them a little different from last year we did stain-glass windows and cut outs on the front and back walls. It took us a little while to find the right lollies, but these worked really well.

We made some gingerbread cookies from the dough this year as well, and they were really nice. I haven’t included the recipe as it is the same as last year.
